A glimpse into what I see, though my lens. What inspires. What tickles. What creates. As a photographer, an artist, a creator, I made this image to reflect today, a tiny particle of love. "Love is life. All, everything that I understand, I understand only because I love. Everything is, everything exists, only because I love. Everything is united by it alone. Love is God, and to die means that I, a particle of love, shall return to the general and eternal source." -Leo Tolstoy
This blog is my commitment to take more photo's, simply for the love it.
And, each day I feel inspired, I will post one new photo.
A blog filled with what inspires.
A documentation of life.

day seventy three - martin luther king
Spoken the day before he died...
"So this morning, as I look into your eyes, and into the eyes of all of my brothers in Alabama and all over America and over the world, I say to you, "I love you. I would rather die than hate you." And I'm foolish enough to believe that through the power of this love somewhere, men of the most recalcitrant bent will be transformed. And then we will be in God?s kingdom. We will be able to matriculate into the university of eternal life because we had the power to love our enemies, to bless those persons that cursed us, to even decide to be good to those persons who hated us, and we even prayed for those persons who despite-fully used us."

day sixty eight - john macenulty
"In case you haven't noticed we are living in a time and place where truth is valued less than opinions. Ideas are ranked as popular or unpopular, not for their truth value.
Opinions are valued for their popularity, not their truth. It's maddening. It can make a kind, good, intelligent person crazy. It's just nuts is all.
It makes me an ivory tower kind of a person, living up here in the clouds, loving and worshipping truth.
I'm watching a pendulum swing.
We've watched pendulums swing before.
But there's no law of pendulums here.
They like to talk about Hitler and such.
Now there's a pendulum swing.
It turns out pendulums can kill a lot of people.
My job is to stay sane, not be drawn into the pendulum.
I wonder about the spiritual lesson in all of this.
There's a kind of required therapy here.
That's the spiritual lesson here. Don't go crazy because things around you are crazy.
I used to have a friend whose mother used the term, crazy makers, to refer to nut balls who had the power to inflame others.
I'm watching the crazy makers. They like to jump on the pendulum and make it swing faster and harder.
My job is not to stop them. There are plenty of people at war with them.
My job is to keep my eye on the beautiful. My job is to preserve and create the beautiful so that when the pendulum swings back there will be a museum with some poetry and some beautiful loving thoughts and some flute music.
What's going into your museum for when things become sane and hungry for truth and beauty?"

day sixty five - john macenulty
"There is a place inside us that is pure understanding, pure beauty, pure love.
We feel it within us, an indescribable feeling,
We express it as poetry, art, prayer, beautiful music, kindness, love.
But the deeper stillness that opens us to everything, to the inner feelings, to the sense of connection with the trees, feeling their roots touch the earth, reaching into her soul and into ours, becoming one with Gaia and ourselves: I can speak of it, but the fullness is hopeless to communicate.
The mystical communion we experience when I speak my words to you is a mystery too, indescribable, inexpressible.
I say, Sacred Tree, and you experience the communion because that is your way.
But that is all we can do. We can't really describe it unless someone already understands it. The words, left to their own devices, don't express anything. They only point. They say, There! That! This!
Point at the easy things, give them names, car, truck, hill, sky, stars, face, eyes, nose.
Point at love, God, beauty, truth and we begin to depend on the inner awareness of the listener.
I come to the ineffable feeling. I sense the purpose and determination of a woman putting gas in a cake delivery truck. She floods me with a mystical sense of sympathy and admiration. It's a sudden thing, a mysterious thing.
You'll understand it if you've experienced it, if it resonates within. Otherwise you may say, Hey, C'mon John, she's just getting some gas.
The mystic may have a sense of the miraculous in ordinary things. But the love of the Great Mystery creates love in ordinary situations crucial to our continued growth and survival."

day fifty five - osho
"I may have become awakened; I may like you to be awakened, but that is my thing, not your thing. If you are fast asleep and dreaming beautiful dreams, who am I to disturb you? I will wait. I will surround you like a fragrance. And if that fragrance catches you, and if that fragrance brings you out of your sleep, it is okay. But it is not a direct effort, it is very, very indirect. And always remember: only those people who are absolutely indirect can be of any help. Direct help is from the politician, indirect help is from the sage."

day fifty two - 10.10.10
10-10-10 is the new beginnings on a spiritual level. Like the quickening prior to birth, it is the signal of change. It is the feeling of something different, even if you’re not sure exactly what that is.
It is the sensation of movement.
It is the knowing without knowing how you know, that everything you’ve perceived as normal up to this time is now changing faster and more intensely than ever before.
In short, 10-10-10 is the spiritual change coming in prior to the physical change.
This can lead people into a kind of panic if they are not clear about living in their hearts.
Lack of preparation for change, especially when you’re not sure what kind of change is coming, leads to restlessness, lack of security, even fear.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear of what is.
Fear of fear.
The important thing to remember, as always from now on, is to stay in your heart.
Spiritual mastery such as this is necessary in order to ascend.
The love-fear-love cycle is prevalent in today’s world.
You read about staying in your heart.
You practice meditations on staying in the heart.
You learn mantras, mudras, and postures to open your heart and stay in your heart.
And something comes along that is unusual, abnormal, even different, and what happens?
You drop into the fear.
However, being aware of the love-fear-love cycle makes you immediately aware that you have dropped into fear.
And that awareness helps you to move back into the love faster.
You don’t stay in the fear as long.
You don’t go as deeply into fear as before.
And staying in your heart is easier and easier.
This is spiritual mastery.
Hence 10-10-10 is making us even more aware of our choice of spiritual mastery, our opening to change, and our choice to stay in our hearts. This solid foundation of love will make all the difference for you in the coming times.
Love-Fear-Love. Choose love. Every time.

day fifty - carl sandburg
Under The Harvest Moon
Under the harvest moon, When the soft silver Drips shimmering Over the garden nights, Death, the gray mocker, Comes and whispers to you As a beautiful friend Who remembers. Under the summer roses When the flagrant crimson Lurks in the dusk Of the wild red leaves, Love, with little hands, Comes and touches you With a thousand memories, And asks you Beautiful, unanswerable questions

day forty seven - the unknown
"...those who readily and enthusiastically step into the unknown, we say to you…yes, great things await you, but there is much to learn! This transition is not an idle one, it is an ongoing and very active period of adjustment and learning, planning and preparation, completing and beginning." -PHC
